Founding Families
We aim to provide an insight into the backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of the families who played a pivotal role in establishing PCCA. Their dedication and vision have been instrumental in shaping the Christ-centered education and vibrant community we all seek.

Pieters Family
Tim and Andrea moved from Oregan to Texas after feeling the Lord’s calling. They have been blessed with 4 children, a bonus son-in-law, and a precious grandbaby. They both grew up in Christ centered homes and graduated from Christian schools.
They are members of Redeemer Church of Denton where they actively serve in the Redeemer Kids ministry and on the Welcome Committee. They have a deep love for the great outdoors and enjoy taking time to appreciate God’s creation.
Tim manages teams that build large-scale projects from 25M to 180M electrical. Andrea is a co-educator in a University-Model ® School. Andrea graduated their oldest daughter with dual credits through a blend of homeschooling and Christian school a la carte options.
They have 5th and 2nd grade students that have attended a University-Model® School since Kindergarten, and a Pre-K student that will start attending PCCA in Kindergarten this fall. They have passionately embraced this lifestyle. They are passionate about the two-day on campus model, where they partner with teachers to provide core teaching and leadership. Together, they share a deep passion for education that fosters the growth of believers in Jesus, equipping them to boldly go into the world and proclaim the Gospel through the skills they’ve attained.
Christian Schooling is important to us because we firmly believe that Christian education plays a vital role in supporting the Christian community. It instills Biblical truths that prepare young people for the future, equipping them to serve God, their families, and their communities, while ultimately fulfilling their God-given calling.

The Vaughn Family
Troy and Andrea both grew up in Texas where they met when Troy was exiting the Army. They have been married for 13 years with four children ages 10, 9, 6, and 4 years old. They are members of Midway Church in Pilot Point and love serving as leaders in the Life Groups and Children’s Ministries. Their oldest daughters have seen the leadership and discipleship modeled in the home and now have a love for serving on their own in the worship and sound booth ministries. They all love their church and private christian school community.
Troy served in the Army for 9 years and now runs a consulting company in the high-voltage electric infrastructure industry. Andrea has a teaching background in Elementary Education and is now a co-educator and substitute teacher in a University-Model® School.
Their children currently attend a University-Model® School in Kinder, 3rd, and 4th grades. We believe in the University-Model ® because it combines the best aspects of traditional schooling and homeschooling. This lifestyle of schooling promotes academic excellence because of the partnership between highly skilled educators and parents who are invested co-educators. They believe discipleship in the home comes first and gets reinforced and nurtured by mentors. This model of schooling has allowed Andrea the ability to co-teach with a professional.
